About This Position
ABOUT THE ROLE
To plan, direct, and oversee all parking operations for facilities managed by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB). This role holds primary responsibility for parking system administration, revenue management, operational analytics, monthly and hourly parking programs, event parking strategies, customer service delivery, and overall facility performance. The position ensures efficient, customer-focused, and financially sound parking operations through strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and continuous process improvement. This position is considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement Weather policy and is not designated as Safety-Sensitive for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, direct, and oversee all parking operations for LRCVB-managed facilities.
- Manage parking system administration and revenue management.
- Analyze operational data to oversee monthly, hourly, and event parking programs.
- Ensure high-quality customer service delivery and overall facility performance.
- Implement strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and continuous process improvement.
- Fulfill supervisory responsibilities for parking operations staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, hospitality management, public administration, management, transportation, or a related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in parking administration, parking operations, revenue management, or a related area.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment.
- Must show proof of valid automobile insurance before being approved to drive any LRCVB vehicle.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement Weather policy.
SELECTION PROCESS
