ABOUT THE ROLE The Police Chief serves as the executive leader of the Mount Dora Police Department, overseeing all functions related to patrol, investigations, and administrative services. This position requires a high level of professional administrative expertise to plan, direct, and implement the department's goals, policies, and operations. The Chief ensures community safety through effective crime prevention and law enforcement strategies while fostering strong public relations.
