ABOUT THE ROLE The Department of the Navy, Commander, Navy Installations Command, is issuing a public notice for anticipated Police Officer vacancies at various locations in California, including Coronado, Fallbrook, and San Diego Naval Base complexes. This position involves detecting and investigating unusual situations, enforcing traffic laws, responding to intrusion detection alarms, and interpreting/enforcing federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), and Navy regulations. The role is considered Key/Emergency-Essential and Mission Essential, requiring immediate support for combat operations or essential systems. Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment.
